Hi and welcome to my new blog. I used to do a blog with short reviews on Look this way.  But I felt that in order to keep on pushing out content I had to invest to much time and energy in making sure I discovered 5 good new records each week. So I decided to start a second blog that will be set up more like an old school fanzine. So you can expect interviews with bands and write-ups about new and old records.

This blog is dedicated to a positive view on the music scene so if you come here to find negative reviews there are plenty of other sites for that. I will also try to stay away from news as I feel that leads to click bait articles and a lot of gossip.

I will feature bands that I think need the exposure, or that I just like a lot. Where my previous blog features all genres of music, here I will focus on hardcore and punk in all its forms. I will not let this stop me from writing an article highlighting good metal or country records. But I feel that a certain style of hardcore bands is underrepresented and I want to cover them here.

Maybe something about myself. I’m an (almost) 40 year old Straight edge dude. I have one kid and work as a trainer – implementation specialist in IT. If I happen to have free time I love to Crossfit,  run, read Scifi and Fantasy books, play table top roleplay games when I can get the group together and sometimes watch some series on Netflix. I used to play in XkombatX, Last straw and Unbreakable.
